The Gallery is the creation of the late banker, W.W. Rouse. He was inspired by the book, They Also Ran, by Irving Stone, and started collecting portraits of the unsuccessful candidates from the Library of Congress.
WHAT & WHY
This "ONE OF A KIND" gallery currently has 63 images of men and women who almost achieved the highest honor of President of the United States of America. Mr. Rouse wanted Norton to have a special Tourism Feature and this collection has attracted attention far and wide.
